REVIEWS, YOYOS, MATERIALS.
It was another beautiful day in Portland with a high of 81º.
Seth Peterson showing off some of his YoYo skills.
Ahh another Saturday at Pensole. It was definitely the fastest moving day so far. We kicked it off with a recap with D'Wayne on the portfolio review and mock interview from yesterday. D'Wayne pointed out some things that we might have missed and we talked about other key information for portfolios, interviews, and everything in between. D'Wayne also gave some parameters on the final presentations.
Pensole alum Seth Peterson stopped by this morning to share his story. Seth currently works at Nike as a Color Designer for Women's Sportswear Footwear. I had connected with Seth several times before when he stopped by on half-day Fridays. A little about Seth include the fact that before footwear and Pensole, he was a professional YoYo-er. He toured the country performing and doing design and marketing work for a YoYo company. We even got him to demonstrate some of his skills.
Some of the final materials that I will be using.
Following Seth's lecture we had some time to work on our own and as a team. After a couple of hours my team met with Ms. Suzette to discuss final materials. We are set, for the most part, on materials and colors for the final presentation.
